Airporthotel Grenchen

Staying next to a small airfield made for a unique and exciting experience. Watching the planes take off and land from the large outside terrace during dinner was amazing. the air-conditioned room was comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. the breakfast buffet offered a good selection of croissants, bread, and muesli. Plus, the free parking on site was a bonus.

The vending machine on our floor was out of order which was inconvenient.

The hotel's location, close to the airfield, was quite fascinating and unique. the room we stayed in was spacious, modern, and clean. We particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast and appreciated the variety of fresh options. Being able to brew our own coffee was a plus.

The hotel's remote location may present challenges to those without a car, as getting around may be difficult. the walls were quite thin, making it easy to hear noise from the hallway and other rooms.

Location directly by the airport, yet quiet. Spacious, clean rooms. Good breakfast!

Good restaurant, comfortable beds, quiet location although at the airport, enough parking spaces, very fast on the highway, breakfast with reasonable selection, price performance is right, friendly, helpful staff.

The automatically switching on light and the fan in the bathroom takes getting used to. When someone is talking in the hallway, you can hear it relatively well in the room.

I recently had a great stay at a hotel near a local airfield. The hotel had a unique aviation vibe, with an old DC-3 aeroplane parked next to the terrace. It was such a cool touch and added to the originality of the place. The rooms were comfortable and offered a view of the airport, which was a nice bonus.

There were some small improvements that could be made, like updating the vending machine on the upper floor to accept card transactions. But overall, everything was ok.

The free Wi-Fi was fast and convenient for my business trip. The continental breakfast was decent, and it was nice to have it included in the room rate. The location was convenient, as it was near the airport and had free parking.

The room was hot and stuffy, and the air conditioning wasn't very effective. The vending machines on the upper floor were out of order, and they only accepted cash.

The staff at this hotel are attentive and provide good service. The rooms offer basic amenities and some even have views of the airport, which adds to the overall experience.

We loved the aviation vibe of this hotel, with an old DC-3 plane parked on the terrace. The terrace was huge, with a great view of the runway at the nearby airport. There was also plenty of free parking available right beside the hotel. The staff were helpful and cute.
